Jane is a retired teacher from the Hampton School District, where she taught at the elementary level for 35 ½ years. Jane is a Slippery Rock University alumnus, having received her BS. in Elementary and Special Education. She returned to SRU to complete her M.Ed with a Certification in Reading. Jane lives in South Butler and has two daughters and four grandchildren. Jane will be working with Reading.
Each Thanksgiving, the students celebrate by having The Feast at NPCH. Several days leading up to the holiday, the children study our early ancestors and make crafts and hats to represent the Pilgrims and the Indigenous People. The school becomes full of energy on the day of The Feast as the children enjoy eating together as our ancestors did.
